To issue the invoices of a merchant, the app reads the merchant's paid orders and refunds through the Shopify Admin API: products, prices, taxes, and the buyer's name, company, billing and shipping address, e-mail address and tax identifiers. It stores the invoices and credit notes it issues (PDF and XML), their numbers and their delivery history, and the merchant's company details and platform credentials (encrypted).
Solely to create the legally required electronic invoices of the merchant and to send them, on the merchant's instruction, to the merchant's approved e-invoicing platform (France) or to the merchant's business customer by e-mail (Germany). The data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with anyone else.
Data is hosted in France (European Union). Invoices are legal accounting documents: they are kept for the period the merchant's law requires (10 years in France, 8 years in Germany) unless the merchant uninstalls the app, in which case all the shop's data is erased 48 hours after uninstalling, as Shopify requires.
Buyers exercise their rights with the merchant, who is the data controller; the app processes data on the merchant's behalf. Contact: contact@stefdevelopment.com.
